Dr. Zámbori earned his medical degree from Semmelweis University in 1995. He completed his psychiatric training at the National Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology, where he obtained specialist qualifications in psychiatry and psychotherapy. He has over 25 years of experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety disorders, OCD, ADHD, psychotic disorders, and bipolar disorders.
His specific interests include precision psychiatry and patient-centered mental health services. Since 1999, he has participated as a researcher and investigator in numerous international phase 2 and 3 clinical trials. Since 2009, he has worked as an international clinical researcher and in clinical research design and drug development for pharmaceutical companies, spending several years in Copenhagen and Frankfurt as a clinical research director. He has also worked as a consultant for biotechnology companies on the medical application and clinical development of psychedelic compounds. He is the author of numerous scientific articles published in peer-reviewed journals and scientific textbooks.
Since 2010, he has been a course leader at the Faculty of Psychology at ELTE University for international MA students in the Clinical Psychology program and holds the title of honorary associate professor at the university.
