Specialist neurosurgeon and interventional pain therapist.
He completed his general medical studies at Semmelweis University, as well as at the medical universities of Bonn and Buffalo. In 2006, he began his research career at what is now the National Institute of Mental Health, Neurology, and Neurosurgery, under the mentorship of Professors Péter Halász and István Ulbert.
In 2009, he was awarded a one-year research scholarship in New York (Fulbright Fellowship) at Northwell Health, NY.
From 2010 onward, as a student of Dr. Loránd Erőss, he gained extensive insight into the treatment of diseases at the intersection of neurology and neurosurgery, such as Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy, various chronic pain syndromes, and conditions associated with spasticity. He also participated in introducing numerous innovative surgical techniques in Hungary.
In 2015, he earned a PhD in clinical neurosciences and passed his neurosurgery board exam with summa cum laude honors.
In 2016, he obtained the Fellow of Interventional Pain Practice (FIPP) qualification from the World Institute of Pain’s international training program.
Starting in 2017, he joined the international spinal surgery training program at the Schulthess Clinic in Zurich, Switzerland, under Professor Dezső Jeszenszky, later becoming Deputy Chief Physician of the institute.
At the end of 2019, he joined the Endomin Center at the Hirslanden Clinic in Zurich as a colleague and student of Professor Robert Reisch. This leading center specializes in the application and teaching of minimally invasive and endoscopic neurosurgical techniques, with a particular focus on transnasal endoscopic skull base surgery.
Since 2021, he has served as Chief Neurosurgeon at Hirslanden Clinic, head of the Endomin Center's spinal surgery division, a member of the skull base surgery team, and its interventional pain therapist.
In 2022, together with Professor Robert Reisch, he founded the Endomin Center in Budapest at the MiND Clinic, in close collaboration with the Zurich-based Endomin Center.
He is a member of several international societies and treasurer of the Hungarian section of the World Institute of Pain (WIP). He is a regular speaker at both national and international conferences and participates as a lecturer in postgraduate neurosurgical training at Semmelweis University.
